Mr Daisuke Mirua
Adult Ballet Director & Master Coach.
Daisuke Miura holds a Diploma in Professional Dance and a Degree in Professional Practice in the Dance and performing Arts Sector.And has up to his Advanced 2 in both Cecchetti Ballet and R.A.D. Daisuke has been a Professional Ballet Dancer since 2006. During this time he has worked with The Serbian National Theatre, Ballet Russe, Ballet West, Duchy Ballet and most recently Ballet Cymru where he had the opportunity of working closely with Cerys Mathews. Daisuke still guest stars in Performances across the U.K. In his career he has danced many soloist roles such as Mercutio in ” Romeo and Juliet” and Puck in ” A midsummer nights dream”. Daisuke now concentrates his time sharing his unbelievable skill and knowledge to the South Wales area where he has become a sought after Ballet Teacher. Most recently Daisuke was nominated for Best Male Dance Artist in the Wales Theatre Awards this being an amazing achievement.
Aimee gained a scholarship at The Urdang Academy London and holds a Diploma in Professional Dance & Musical Theatre, BTEC in Performing Arts, A level Dance & a licensed Melody Bear teacher. Aimee performed around the UK & Europe for many years & worked for many companies including Gobsmacked Pantos (London) Cragrats Theatre Group (Yorkshire) RJP entertainments (Spain) Cornucopia club (Corfu) TMC Entertainment (Rhodes) White Horse Theatre Company (Germany) & had her own cabaret show in Gran Canaria. Aimee has choreographed many shows & is inspired by the pupils to create more!
Miss Natalie has studied ballet from a young age & trained in the Royal Ballet’s Associate program & was also a Cecchetti scholar. Natalie won many awards such as 1st place in the Wales & West Mable Ryan Awards 2 years in a row. Natalie was offered a scholarship to train at the prestigious Kate Simmons Dance School, where she gained a Diploma in Professional Dance & toured around the UK performing many roles including Belle in Beauty & the Beast & Cinderella.
Natalie has been teaching Ballet since 2008 and has a 100% pass rate putting children in for Cecchetti Ballet Exams. Natalie’s passion for teaching is never ending and her aim to bring the joy of dance to all.
Jessica Hill studied at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and graduated in 2010.
Jessica then went on to performing with a Dance Company called Verve 11 which toured around the UK and some parts of Britain. After that, Jessica went on to performing and working with various choreographers, whist teaching for Earthfall Dance Company at various schools and colleges.
Being a mum of two has given Jess the passion and desire to forward all her skills and experience to young talented children.
Kay Burt has been working with Theatre Companies and Dance Schools for over 20 years. Through out those years she has supplied and made costumes, Worked as an outstanding Stage manager and taken up Administration roles. Kay has done all this as a volunteer committing a lot of her time towards the Theatre and Arts. Kay originally supported Chance2dance from 2010 to 2016 and now is the Newport area Administrator of Children’s Ballet Wales.
Miss Bee studied performing arts in the University of South Wales and graduated in 2013. After graduating Miss Bee worked with a school where she entertained, taught drama and had responsibilities to keep children safe. She has since taught a drama group from ages 6-12 where she co-produced a stunning show “Our Wonderland” at the Congress Theatre in 2014. Miss Bee has worked with the Newport area for many years under administrational and assistant roles. Miss Bee has also trained in Cecchetti Ballet and often teaches our pre-school classes when she can. MissBee is full of energy and is very popular with the little students.
