A Message from Miss Aimee Regarding the Summer Party

Children can wear what they like to the party, a few have asked to come in fancy dress. What ever they want to wear is fine. Parents can leave children however, for the younger children (under 5’s) I would ask parents to stay.

During the party we are having a solo performance from Taylor Rowden. When choreographing The Wizard of Oz in The Prince’s Royal Theatre in 2009 I came across a young dancer with great potential. So I cast her the lead role as Dorothy. Over the years, she has gone from strength to strength. Taylor has now been offered a place in the prestigious Kate Simmons Dance School where she will further her career in dance over the next three years.

Fees are not cheap (£9,000) per year. I have been heavily involved with fund raising and have been instrumental in the set up of the “Dare to Dream” fundraising campaign.

Since March, we have raised an impressive £11,000 and continues to work hard with various entertainment events, raffels, coffee mornings and sponsored walks, you name it we have done it! I think it is important to nurture a child’s ambition and teach them to believe anything is possible if you want it and work hard enough for it!

During the party, there will be a raffel, tickets are £1.00 with 100% of the proceeds going towards Taylors tuition fees. There are lots of exciting prizes including… Children’s Toys, Games, Ballet T-shirts, Ballet Kit Bags and a FREE TERM at Children’s Ballet Wales!

You can see what we have been getting up to on our Dare to Dream Facebook Page here:
