Children’s Ballet Wales

Children’s Ballet Wales was set up in 2013 By Miss Aimee Hopkin, to offer local children the chance to learn the beautiful art of Ballet. Since then, the school has grown and is now considered one of the best Ballet Schools in South Wales. We currently have over 200 pupils and regularly perform sell out shows in some of South Wales’s biggest theatres.

ballet wales In 2015 Children’s Ballet Wales was amalgamated with Chance2Dance Academy of Arts. Chance2Dance Academy of Arts is owned and run by Mr Daisuke Mirua and Mrs Natalie Miura, who now have an active involvement in Children’s Ballet Wales (Now known as Ballet (Wales) Limited. As of today, Ballet Wales has schools from Pontarddulais to Newport and is growing rapidly. We are now able to offer Adult Classes, Baby Ballet and even Sling Ballet!

All pupils (young and old) will be able to take exams in ISTD Cecehetti Method of Ballet, taught by very talented professional dance tutors. All our tutors are fully experienced in both teaching AND performing.

If your child enjoys dancing, dressing up and learning new skills, they are sure to love ballet classes! Ballet Wales are a ballet school for children from 14 Months (Baby ballet) up to teenage years. Children’s Ballet Wales has now been launched in several places over the South Wales area. We firmly believe children learn through fun which is why we combine syllabus work based on ISTD Cecehetti Method & Melody Bear Movement along with our own choreographed songs/dances & allows dress up time at the end of class so the children can dance freely with the music. Most of our students feel that Ballet is the highlight to their week and look forward to their class.

Children’s Ballet Wales will allow your child to express themselves freely in a safe and monitored environment, whilst enjoying learning the beautiful art of Ballet. It is a proven fact that children who take Ballet have more grace, poise, skill and self discipline than those who don’t. Children’s Ballet Wales is helping children who are normally shy and retiring become confident and outgoing in a supportive environment that encourages growth and achievement.  If you feel that your child would enjoy learning Ballet, please contact us on 07722 731 324 or via this website. The first lesson is always free!
